In 2015, Pathways of Arizona earned national accreditation through the Council on Accreditation (COA).  COA engages in an in-depth review of services delivery, administration, financial practices and management functions. The process takes 12-18 months and involves staff in every program and at all levels, our Board of Directors, and community stakeholders. THE LEADERSHIP TEAM

 

Breeann Hoerning, MBA, Vice President of Operations

Breeann has twenty-two years-experience in health care and a sixteen-year tenure with Pathways, working in finance, corporate strategy, and operations. In her role as VP of Operations, she is responsible for the oversight and management for the Western Region which includes, Arizona, California, Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma, Nevada, Washington and Idaho. She works with the Pathways National Team to evaluate current business operations, implement new service lines and ensure consistent structure within each agency.  Breeann has a bachelor of science from the University of Arizona and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.  Breeann has expertise in new business development, collaborative care models, and strategic planning.

Cindy Greer, LCSW, CEO/State Director

Cindy has over twenty-six years of behavioral health experience, serving in both administrative and clinical roles including policy and program development, project management, RFP planning, development, and implementation, and new business development.  Prior to moving to Arizona in 1999, she served in various roles within the community mental health system.  Upon moving to Arizona, she was the Executive Director for the National Alliance on Mental Illness where during her tenure she doubled the operating budget.   Cindy then worked for almost twelve years at the Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) where her last role was the Chief of Clinical Services responsible for clinical and member services, training, network management and development, recovery, peer, and criminal justice services.   Cindy served as the Clinical Director for Pathways of Arizona from January 2015- October 2016- after serving as the Director of Social Services for Universal Health Services.
 

Irene Estrada, Director of Operations

Irene has thirty years-experience in business and accounting and is celebrating twenty years at Pathways where she worked her way up from administrative support functions to the Arizona leadership team.  Irene worked in various departments including admissions, medical, and billing.  Irene has an Associate of Applied Sciences in Youth Care Rehabilitation from Pima Community College and graduated with honors from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.  Irene has expertise in operations, financial statement analysis, budget planning and preparation, information systems, project management, and operationalizing new business development.  

Mary Moreno, MS, LPC, CHP, Director of Quality Management

Mary is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified HIPAA Professional with over twenty-five years’ experience in the behavioral health field.  She has a Master’s of Science and Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona in Rehabilitation Counseling.  Her experience includes community mental health, vocational rehabilitation, employment with the Regional Behavioral Health Authority as well as Quality Management, Utilization Management, Privacy and Compliance. She has worked with Pathways Corporate Compliance and Quality Management team in the development of the National QM Plan and national compliance activities.   Mary has been in her current role with Pathways for over five years. 

Patrick G. Sola, MD, Medical Director

Dr. Sola is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Arizona College of Medicine.  He is double Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.  He completed medical school at Loyola University Chicago in 2004 and went on to complete his general psychiatry residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University in Saint Louis in 2007.  He then completed a sub-specialty fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Arizona in 2009.  Dr. Sola has an unrestricted medical license in the states of Arizona and Texas.              

Robyn Dafoe, BA, Director of Clinical Operations

Robyn has over twenty years of experience in behavioral health in the Tucson community, including both direct services and administrative roles.  Robyn worked for twelve years with one of the children’s comprehensive service providers where she reduced out of home placements by 50% while working to increase in-home support services.  Robyn was most recently the Vice President of Clinical Services at JFCS where she was responsible for the services and budgets of four clinical programs and assisted in expanding trauma services for adults under a VOCA grant.  Robyn has been with Pathways of Arizona since January 2017.
